For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! (First Corinthians 9:16)

(11/2/2025) An Introduction to Paul's letters to the Thessalonians and what it looks like to become a Model Church by Dave Grant

(10/26/2025) Galatians 2. In this second lesson in the book of Galatians, we start to see where the churches in Galatia were slipping; they were turning back to some of the law in hopes that it would save them. Paul's goal was to remind them that only Christ can save.

(10/19/2025) Galatians 1, the first lesson in our series called, Set Free in Christ. In this lesson, Paul begins the letter by telling the churches that they have forsaken the gospel of Christ for another gospel that really is no gospel at all.

(10/12/2025) Proverbs 5 introduces us to a warning from Solomon's mother to watch out for the adultrous woman. In this lesson, we make application for our own marriages, but also broaden the lesson to be aware of any worldly lure that may take you from the path.

(10/5/2025) Dave Albaugh gives three lessons with a common theme: Feed My Sheep.

(9/28/2025) Psalm 91. God does not promise to keep us from all trouble in this life, but He does promise to hold us and walk with us through these troubles. We are safe under the shadow of His wings.

(9/21/2025) It is important to know that a life of righteousness will merit blessings. However, a life of sin will reap destruction. The whole truth is that sin destroys. We know this. Israel knew this. It comes down to a choice. I pray that we can learn from history and choose life.

(9/14/2025) Acts 28:16-31 You are Enough: Knowing our Value in the Eyes of God. As we look at the last half of Acts 28 and wrap up the life of Paul, I present a unique reflection on our own lives and the value we possess before we were even born.

(9/7/2025) Acts 27:1-28:15 Finding purpose in the shipwrecks of life. As we look at Paul's voyage to Rome, it was literally a shipwreck. But what we learn from this story is how Paul found meaning and purpose therein. We can learn to do the same when life does not happen as we plan at times.

(8/31/2025) Alex Meredith expounds on the parable of the Prodigal Son as he asked the question, "is there a limit to the mercy of God?"

(8/24/2025) As we continue through the book of Acts, we are in Acts 21:17-26:32, where Paul was arrested, and over a span of a couple years, he stood before Governor Felix, Governor Festus, and King Agrippa. NONE of them could find fault with Paul. Similar to the life lived by Jesus, Paul provided another example to guide our lives.

(8/17/2025) Psalm 3, Strength in the Darkness. We may likely face many troubles in this life, and sometimes feel overwhelmed. Where can we find strength? For David, it was God who was his sheild, God was his glory, and God was the one who lifted his head up high. Our strength can be found in God.

(8/10/2025) Worship in the Park. In this sermon recorded at Luddington Park in Escanaba, we looked at Matthew 6:25-34 as we surveyed a small portion of the Sermon on the Mount. In this lesson, we took note of what Jesus said about worry. Look at the birds and consider the flowers. You can trust God to help you.

(7/20/2025) Acts 18:23-19:7. As we begin surveying the third journey of Paul, we learn about a young preacher named Apollos. He was a very knowledgeable man teaching about Jesus accurately. However, he had only learned and was only teaching John's baptism. He was about to learn about the soul saving baptism into Jesus.

(7/13/2025) Acts 16-18. As we are walking through the book of Acts, this lesson surveys the second journey of Paul. We also will take a moment to talk about the character of Paul and Silas and the impact it had on those around them

(7/6/2025) Proverbs 4:26 instructs us to "be careful to watch our step." Not every path will lead to where you wish to go. The step you make today could impact you for eternity - Be Careful.

(6/29/2025) The life of Hezekiah and practical lessons

(6/22/2025) Psalm 82 - Among the Gods - Psalm 82 is an intriguing psalm, especially when asking, who are the gods spoken of in this psalm? Most importantly is, what were they not doing that met the disapproval of God?

(6/15/2025) Traditions are not wrong in and of themselves. But it is important to stay in the Word of God to know what is tradition and what is asked by God.

(6/8/2025) As we walk through the first journey of Paul in Acts 13-14, we will take note of some who were taking steps to follow Jesus and others who were quite lost. But what does it look like to see them through the eyes of hope?

(6/1/2025) Tad Masteller is our guest speaker as he gives us a lesson entitled, "Blessed."

(5/25/2025) In John 13, during the last supper, Jesus reminded the disciples about the service of love that is becoming of a Christian. In these chapters (14-17), Jesus talked about the Holy Spirit and how they will not be left alone.

(5/18/2025) This lesson is on John 13 where we begin to look at the Last Supper. In this chapter, we find Jesus talk about two vital things that should be part of our Christian walk.

(5/11/2025) This lesson is intended to honor mothers on Mother's Day. Rahab may not be the usual topic for Mother's Day, but there is a lesson within her life that I think is worthy of note. In this lesson, we look at the change in the life of Rahab as she allowed God to transform her.

(5/4/2025) As we look at this Proverb, we will notice that there are priceless rewards to living a wise life, however, there is also a cost. It takes discipline to live right, but it will be worth it.

(4/27/2025) The world has seen a great light, but many have chosen to remain in darkness. In this lesson, we will look at John 12. As the days of Jesus' time on earth was limited, many still did not believe. Some however, followed whole heartedly.

(4/20/2025) Resurrection Sunday. In this lesson, we will look at John 11 and see what Jesus means when He says, "I Am the Resurrection and the Life."

(4/6/25) In this survey of the whole story within the Word of God and a glance at Ephesians 3:14-16, we learn that God has been seeking relationship with each and every one of us.

(3/23/25) In this fourth lesson in the book of John, we will consider the validity of the story of the adulterous woman in John 8:1-11, and also learn how Jesus is the Light of the World in chapters 8 and 9.

(3/16/25) This is lesson three as we continue to study the identity of Christ in the book of John. In this lesson, we will see Jesus' heart of compassion, and we will see Him as our bread of life.

(3/9/25) The book of John tells us many things about Christ that will help us to know Him better. We are going to dive in and find those treasures. In this second lesson, we will learn how Jesus is the Rabbi and He is lifted up.

(2/23/25) Chapter 12 in our series in the book of Acts. God's word and His will are unstoppable. In this chapter, we will see Peter's miraculous prison break. As we get to the end of the chapter, the same people who were persecuting the church were found dead. The battle however was not in the flesh. The forces of light were at war against the forces of darkness, and God was winning, and always will.

(2/16/25) Psalm 19. David gave us a poetic way to view the moon, the stars and the whole firmament. While doing so, we can ponder the wondrous handiwork of God.

(2/9/25) God was still shaping the hearts of the apostles. Even after the years they spent with Jesus, they did not fully understood how wide the arms of God stretched. They were still learning that the whole world meant everyone.

(2/2/25) In our series in the book of Acts, we read about two men in chapter 10: Peter and Cornelius. This chapter will give us a glimpse of what God was still trying to do in the heart of Peter. God died for the whole world.

(1/26/25) We have all been blessed with gifts from God. Are we giving to others and using our gifts to benefit the kingdom of God?

(1/19/25) For the next two weeks, we’ll look at two of the keys to fulfillment in Christ. In Part 1—Fully Trusting, we’ll try to learn how to yield complete control of our lives to the Lord.
